Even felt like eating another slice of that chocolate cake you had fifteen minutes ago? Sometimes, we eat more than what we need. We eat not only to be full and to gratify our physical needs. Most of the time, we eat because it makes us feel good for a moment. We eat because it is our way of running away from the negative emotions we feel. We eat when we are depressed. We use food as ourrefuge, a sort of security blanket amidst our insecurities towards the world.

The information is out there, but there seem to be a lack of alcohol and drug abuse educational programs that are correctly structured for the appropriate age groups.

Cocaine Addiction

Surely, when someone hears the word cocaine, all he/she could think of is addiction. Cocaine seems to connote a negative idea and even more, a negative emotion towards people. Indeed, it is a substance known to be easily abused and thus, users eventually become addicted to it and the cycle goes on and on. Like any other drugs, cocaine addiction can harm lives. It changes the individual in many ways, his perspectives, his motives, perception, and behaviors.
